Our Director

Nick Kaoustos
Principal and Managing Director

Nick Kaoustos has over 20 years experience in structural design of a wide range of architectural building projects, multi-storey residential buildings, industrial and commercial projects throughout Australia.

He brings his practical design, meticulous detailing and problem-solving expertise to all projects with a focus on value for money.

Nick is recognised as a practical, hands-on engineer who ensures all projects are efficiently delivered with accurate, complete details, on time and budget.

Nick’s previous consulting experience includes the structural design of award-winning residential renovations, new beachfront high-end properties, commercial car dealerships and 20-storey residential towers.

In addition, Nick’s experience working at the Queensland Government gave him the exposure to design various government archive buildings, police stations, ambulance stations and educational buildings; as well as the background knowledge to simplify the complicated process of certifications and approvals.

Since the inception of Structural Innovations Australia, Nick has led from the front by focusing on structural design, project management, design coordination, client liaison, constructability review and engineering problem-solving.

Now the Principal and Managing Director, Nick leads a team of enthusiastic staff who deliver projects to a diverse range of clients. Nick is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia (MIEAust), a Chartered Engineer of Australia (CPEng), a National Registered Engineer (NER) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
